I have always admired the blue eyes humans.
I came to know that there are 3 elements within iris that contribute to its color.
The melanin content of the iris pigment epithelium,
melanin content within the iris stroma and the cellular density of the iris stroma.
The interesting phenomenon is that different region of the world have different eye color.
How cool is that. Asian are known as the dark eye color humans.
A range color from hazel to dark brown is the typical color.
Those Asian with vivid eye colors are naturally due to mixture of heritage.
To my surprise, eye color change do exist.
It is thought that exposure to light after birth triggers
the production of melanin in the iris of the eye.
And by the age of three, the eyes produce and
store enough melanin to indicate their natural shade.
Not only changes in eye color of infants are more common.
Even in adults, eye color changes are seen,
most often as a result of exposure to the sun.
Sunlight triggers melanin production in the eye, as it does to the skin.
That's when I decided to learn about editing of eye color using photoshop.
The best part was it wasn't as hard as I thought.
My eye color was naturally brown which was manipulated into 3 different shades.
